The Marion Cross School is contacted by local businesses and non-profits to make our parents aware of upcoming opportunities. We publish information that directly supports or enhances our Pre-K-6 population. Please note that these are not school sponsored events.
As we transition away from adding PDFs (colorful flyers, etc.) and images, please submit text information only.
If you have a program you'd like featured, please contact Jessica Liddy in the front office. Items will be featured for the month with updates each Friday.

The UVJC is starting a Day Camp in Hanover this summer. August 17-21, 2026, during the “shoulder season” between the end of summer and the first week of school when lots of families are looking to fill the gap in child care coverage. Based at the Roth Center on the Dartmouth campus, we will do arts and crafts, field games and board games, music, theater, dancing, hikes and nature exploration in nearby Pine Park, campfires and s’more roasting, baking, cooking, a field trip to a water park, and many other fun things. All of these activities will be infused with Hebrew vocabulary and Jewish values.
The camp is led by educator (and former Ray School parent) Melissa Herman, along with a team of counselors drawn from Dartmouth undergraduates and high school students. The campers are ages 5 through 10, and the cost features a sliding scale starting at $25 per camper per day, including lunch and snacks. Send any questions to Melissa: school@uvjc.org.
