Learning

Sometimes learning is messy; solutions aren't often self-evident, and learning isn't linear. Students first attempts at a math problem may be insufficient to solve the problem. Sounding out a word may produce incorrect pronunciations. Creating a meaningful metaphor may be elusive.  As students persevere, and they solve the problem, the joy is visible and palpable.
